Shoebox ministry

SHOEBOXES DUE

BY LAST SUNDAY IN OCTOBER

Each fall, members of our congregation fill and wrap over 50 shoeboxes for this Christmas Mission project!

Through the efforts of many churches, Native American children and their families in New Mexico are shown God’s love through these shoebox gifts as well as gifts of basic food items!

YOUTH: Involving our youth in worship services and missions is important to help them be a part of this church family and serve God. We use any opportunity to keep the youth involved!

Food For The Hungry

18 year old Yelusa Namwanga from Uganda!

Our support and prayers give Yelusa the opportunity to thrive in school. She is learning about God’s love for her and her family with support from Food For the Hungry. Her community is taught agricultural skills to be self sufficient and thrive!  We praise God that FH programs in her community have adapted for COVID-19 through food, ag supplies and personal protective equipment distribution, as well as teaching safety measures.

LA TECH BAPTIST COLLEGIATE MINISTRY

Along with other area churches, we help provide and serve dessert items for “Soul Food Tuesdays” lunch program at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) facility at Louisiana Tech University.

It is a blessing to see so many young people involved in their campus ministry program, and we are thrilled to be a small part in this campus outreach!
